How to get there

BY CAR

Coming from Antwerp (1 hour drive)

  • Go to the R1
  • Follow the E17 to Oudenaardsesteenweg/N8 in Kortrijk
  • Take exit 3-Kortrijk-Oost from the E17 Continue on the N8 towards Voltage Festival in Zwevegem

Coming from Brussels (1hour drive)

  • Follow the E40 and E17 to the Oudenaardsesteenweg/N8 in Kortrijk
  • Take exit 3-Kortrijk-Oost from the E17
  • Continue on the N8 Towards Voltage Festival in Zwevegem

Coming from Hasselt

  • Follow the E313 and E17 towards the Oudenaardsesteenweg/N8 in Kortrijk
  • Take exit 3-Kortrijk-Oost from the E17
  • Continue on the A10
  • Keep right at the Zwijnaarde junction and follow the signs E17 towards Kortrijk
  • Take exit 3-Kortrijk-Oost towards the N8 richting Zwevegem
  • Continue on the N8 towards Voltage Festival in Zwevegem

PARKING

We have multiple parking areas that should be sufficient to provide all visitors a safe parking spot. We advise you however to carpool with your friends in order to limit the traffic and amount of cars around our festival area. And by doing so you show you care about the environment!

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Visitors coming by train can plan their trip with destination "Kortrijk". National visitors can plan their train ride by using NMBS' Reisplanner. The last train back home departs at 23:20. Therefore we advise you to buy a combi-ticket when using public transport. Upon arrival at the trainstation you can take the following busses to Zwevegem:

  • Bus lijn 93 - Kortrijk-Zwevegem-Moen-Sint-Denijs-Helkijn
  • Bus lijn 91 - Kortrijk-Zwevegem-Heestert-Avelgem

CHECK-OUT

All visitors need to have left the camping area by Monday, July 31st at 14h00 latest.

To access the campsite, you must be in possession of a valid camping wristband. You will receive your wristband at the cash register at the campsite.
Don’t forget to bring your ID! No ID = no entry!
One ticket stands for 1 entry for 1 person.

Voltage Festival House Rules

ENTRY TO THE FESTIVAL

Minimum age

The minimum age to enter the festival is 18 years. Visitors are obligated to enter their date of birth upon purchasing a ticket. If the visitor is younger than 18 years it isn’t possible to purchase a ticket to the festival. When there is doubt that a visitor isn’t old enough to enter the festival we will do a passport check. When the visitor isn’t 18 years of age access will be denied. The ticket will not be refunded.

Intoxicated visitors

If there is an assumption that a visitor is intoxicated access to the festival will be denied as there is a zero drugs policy at Voltage Festival. When a visitor has a high alcohol intoxication the bar personnel will refuse to serve any more alcohol containing beverages. All of our staff will be briefed to do so.

ACCESS CONTROL AT THE FESTIVAL GROUND AND CAMPING AREA

Access to the festival area
Visitors will be searched upon entering the festival. They will be searched at critical points and possible hiding places for illegal carryings. Everyone in the possession of a carrying bag, backpack, purse or alike will have to open it to the Voltage Festival Security for thorough searching.

It is forbidden to carry any of the following items upon entering the festival area. This list only serves as a reference point and other items may be neglected as well.

Searches as the festival ground
During the festival security will be a security patrol by both our professional security firm and our own stewards. When there is a scent of illegal containing the visitor can be taken apart by our security firm. Voltage stewards will never search a visitor, their only job is to alarm the security.

Zero drugs tolerance
Possession of drugs is end of festival as we have a zero drugs tolerance at Voltage Festival.  

Drugs deposit box
Every visitor has the possibility to drop his drugs in a sealed deposit box before entering the festival. This can be done anonymous and without facing prosecution.

Carrying of drugs
If drugs is found the person will be removed from the festival grounds and the bracelet will be cut. The person is not allowed to re-enter the festival.

Disorder during the event
When visitors are causing disorder during the event they can be removed by security and the festival wristband may be cut. This is the sole decision of the security staffing, Voltage Festival crew will not intervene.

When there is a case of aggression or fighting we will immediately notify the Voltage Festival Security Team. They are trained professionals in solving and handling complicated situations like these. When needed the necessary legal institutions will be notified of the occurred event.

CAMPING Q&A

Don't do or bring:

  • Glass, bowls and other sharp objects.
  • Tap installations
  • No noise pollution after midnight, keep the music to a bearable minimum
  • Sound installations
  • Gas installations (only smallest size of max. 250g is allowed)
  • No campfires
  • Aggregators, car batteries, generators,…
  • Pets, with the exception of guide dogs for blinds.
  • Drugs
  • Weapons or objects that can be used as a weapon.
  • Climbing or destroying fences and other infrastructure
  • Graffiti, confetti, party poppers, ….
  • Provocative clothing
  • Dry ice
  • Commerce without the permission of the organization.
  • The obstruction of emergency exits/ fire escapes. The organization is free to remove the obstruction because of security grounds.
  • Pasting posters or dispensing flyers without the permission of the organization.
